Acting has a special place in my heart. All the nerves, stress and pressure in that moment before you first set foot on stage soon dissipates and you are left gazing out at the audience. Suddenly, you have control of your nerves and it is the audience who feel the anticipation, there is nothing like it in the world and I am so thankful that I get to experience that again, in my own home town no less.
I played Kenickie in Grease and Riff in West side Story for sold out audiences at the Regent Theatre while in high school along side Zac Mason and Jackie Thomas. A six year hiatus took me through a couple of theatre classes at Otago University until I returned to Greymouth where I got back into the thick of things with Greymouth Operatic Society and Westland High School shows. I only hope you enjoy these performances as much as I do.
